Karen, who many of you know, has been selected to represent South Africa in Belgium as part of the Occupational Therapy delegation. Since we like her (and have no idea what Occupational Therapy is), we’re going to help her out by donating the proceeds of the night to her trip. Now you can say you had a 1 Night Stand for a reason, or at least for a good cause.

For those of you who’ve forgotten, the theme of the night is ‘S.’ So you could come as Superman or Suntan lotion, whatever tickles your fancy. Or whatever gets you tickling someone else’s fancy.

Since we’re trying to keep the cover charge down to R20, we’re going to reach out and touch all of you and ask for your help. If you have or can source any of the following, give us a shout so that we can make it happen.

Ash Trays (if you don’t have any, you can help us make some. Tin can; Sand, you get the picture)
1 x Door Lady / Door Man. Not necessarily new, we’ll take a used model.
Volunteers to manufacture obscene amounts of ice.
